Team Full Swing Heads to the FedExCup Playoffs
In a PGA TOUR season like no other, we have made it to the FedExCup Playoffs, as the top 125 players on the season-long FedEx Cup standings begin a 3 event playoff for the ultimate prize of $15 million at the TOUR Championship. As always, when it’s time for the biggest names in golf to come together, Team Full Swing is going to have a deep roster. This year, Team Full Swing will be well represented by ambassadors Tiger Woods, Justin Rose, Jason Day, Gary Woodland, Brandt Snedeker and Jordan Spieth who all have installed Full Swing Simulators (and some Virtual Greens) in their homes.
Full Swing Simulators have been installed in the homes of the best players on The PGA TOUR for a reason, our Champion Proven Technology that provides real ball flight with no delay. Few players are as prepared to head into the home stretch than Team Full Swing ambassadors who were able to continue working on their games at home, “It’s great to have an opportunity with my Full Swing Simulator to practice while still being at home with my family.” said Team Full Swing ambassador, Gary Woodland – 2019 U.S. Open Champion and from the man that everyone is waiting to see, Tiger Woods, he has been preparing on his simulator saying “Full Swing allows me to stay sharp on my weeks off.” It’s time to see all that hard work pay off as they begin the journey to Atlanta for The TOUR Championship.
The playoffs begin with THE NORTHERN TRUST at TPC BOSTON, a course that is being added to FULL SWING GOLF SOFTWARE this week so that subscribers can play the same course as the best in the world. The 125 players will be cut down to the top 70 as they head to Olympia Fields CC outside Chicago to play the BMW Championship and then finally it will be time for the top 30 players remaining to advance to the historic East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta. Full Swing ambassadors Jordan Spieth, Justin Rose and Brandt Snedeker have lifted the FedExCup before at East Lake but not quite as many as Full Swing’s most famous ambassador, Tiger Woods, who has won two times. We look forward to cheering them on at the FedExCup Playoffs with the rest of Team Full Swing to try raise it once again.

Introducing Golf Into Your Fitness Routine
Tiger Woods changed the game 20+ years ago when he came out on the course looking like an athlete, a real athlete, not just “a golfer.” Players, both professional and amateur, took notice not just of his look but of the trophies he started racking up in record fashion. In recent years, fitness has become an integral part of the game, with players of all ages trying to find an edge, whether it be to incorporate yoga, CrossFit, spin class or even pilates into their routine. With Tiger Woods being back in the spotlight winning his latest tournament at 43, we’re sure that golfers of all abilities are going to be heading to the gym this winter to try and replicate his success. And many places have already caught onto this wave— by adding golf simulators into their gym or training facilities.
As for Tiger, intertwining fitness into his golf routine has given him an advantage over his fellow golfers, making him one of the top Pros in the world. One key attribute that plays a role in Tiger’s training, is his Full Swing simulator. Our simulators allow golfers the time they need to practice a certain shot, instantly give feedback on ball data and log their progress for improvement.
Training facilities such as Westosha Sports Complex and AVID Indoor Golf & Fitness are a great way for people to remain active and healthy. Both facilities utilize Full Swing simulators and have had great success in doing so. AVID Indoor Golf & Training— located in Rochester New York— created a Golf-Fit program dedicated to improving strength, mobility, stability, rotational power and much more! Each golfer is given a personalized training session specific to using the golf simulator that is set to improve their fitness, mentality and bring their golf game to a new level!
Simulator Season
With snow falling on the East Coast and dusk approaching early on the West Coast, it is safe to say that the outdoor golf season is coming to an end. However, for places like Wired Golf and Golf Amplified golf simulator season has just begun!
For places like California, where the problem with golf in the winter isn’t so much the weather, but racing to get to the course before the sun goes down. Located in Santa Monica, Wired Golf is an indoor golf lounge where you can play, practice, and learn on Full Swing simulators. They host weekly league nights, offer lessons with a PGA Certified Professional golf instructor and created a monthly membership for their avid golfers. Golfers can now come in on their lunch to get a lesson or swing by after work for a few rounds.
For the other rest of the country though, the biggest setback is the weather. With snow on the ground those 4-5 months during winter, swinging your club or practicing your putt seems nearly impossible. Luckily, places like Golf Amplified have made the off-season part of your peak-season. Golf Amplified is a premier indoor golf and event facility located in Kingsport, Tennessee. Here, golfers can use our Full Swing simulators to get fit for new clubs, get lessons, join a clinic or play 18 holes in under an hour! This is also a great way to keep kids and junior golfers active during those colder months.
No matter what the weather is outside or if the sun has set, with a Full Swing Simulator, you can play whenever you have the time.
Introducing Women to the Game
Last year the LPGA Women’s Network launched a movement called #inviteHER which “seeks to create an enjoyable, welcoming experience for women interested in trying the game or picking it back up,” through group lessons, driving range sessions or on-course experience. With the LPGA eager to grow the game, Full Swing strives to do the same! Our mission is to create a ‘no pressure environment’ that is welcoming to new and non-avid golfers.
Full Swing simulators are beneficial for women who are new to the game, eager to improve their skills or looking for a community of like minded ladies. One huge advantage of learning on our golf simulators is time. There is no rush to get to the next hole and no time restraint on how long you can practice! Women have time to work on their skills and gain the confidence to play on the course with their spouse or friends.
Another advantage to Full Swing simulators are that they are fun! Five Iron Golf, located in New York City— holds a monthly Sip & Swing: Women’s Golf Clinic. These clinics are instructed by an LPGA professional that teaches women the basics of golf, creates a supportive environment, provides tips and ticks all while sipping some wine! With clinics like these, we have high expectations that women will be spending more time out on the golf courses and learning the game.
TEAM FULL SWING: JASON DAY’S GOLF BARN
Jason Day has impressed many throughout the years by having been ranked No.1 in the world, winning a Major title and taking home twelve PGA TOUR victories. Aside from his pure golf talent, Day may now be known for something else, —as he likes to call— his “golf barn”. On a recent trip out to visit our Team Full Swing ambassador, Day gave us a grand tour of his practice facility he built at his home and to say we were amazed is an understatement.
Having joined forces with Full Swing back in 2016, Day is no stranger when it comes to using his golf simulator for practice and preparing for tournaments around the globe. With access to over 80 of the top courses in the world, practicing for an upcoming tournament has never been easier or more accessible. “I can see the course and it’s like you’re playing a practice round before actually setting foot on site,” Day continued, “then when you get there it’s like you played it so many times before but it was all from playing in the simulator.” Having the ability to practice on courses such as Pebble Beach and Torrey Pines before those PGA TOUR stops, gives him and other Full Swing owners on TOUR, a great advantage over the competition.
Day credits his Full Swing Simulator for keeping his game going through the cold months that are coming up, “Sometimes I’m trying to hit a draw, hit a fade, trying different trajectories and I’m able to do that, in the middle of wintertime when it’s snowing outside,” Day explained, “you can’t do that anywhere else without having a Full Swing Simulator”. Whether you are chasing your next TOUR victory, or just trying to keep swinging through the winter, it is easy to see why Day is inspiring many to take their practice to the next level with Full Swing.
Tiger Woods: 82 Wins And Counting
Tiger Woods has done it yet again! Woods has tied Sam Snead as the all-time winningest player with 82 PGA TOUR Wins.Tiger held off Japan’s Hideki Matsuyama in front of his home crowd and had golf fans around the world glued to their screens as they watched his historical victory. His first start on The PGA TOUR’s 2019-20 season can only be described as a statement win and showed that his Masters victory was no fluke.
Leading up to this victory, Woods had been recovering from his latest knee surgery at his home in Jupiter, FL, where he has been using his Full Swing Pro Series Simulator to keep his game sharp and ready for his latest victory. Having installed his simulator in 2015, Woods has used his simulator consistently as a way to practice most efficiently as his career continued “Full Swing’s technology is impressive, as it allows me to shape my shots the way I want to. It just feels real,” he continued, “I use my simulator to practice every type of shot from tee to green. Rain or shine, day or night I can get my practice in.” This was then followed up by a video posted on his Instagram captioned “Progressing nicely”.
It has been a historic year for Woods, winning the 2019 Masters for his 15th major and now moving into a position of T-1 for all time PGA TOUR victories, Full Swing is proud to have been a part of Tiger’s journey. As the world looks forward to seeing Tiger tee it up again soon, we know his Full Swing Simulator will have him ready to play his best.
Golf Made for Both On and Off The Course
In the past year the spark in new golfers joining the game increased not just on the course, but off as well.
If you haven’t heard of Topgolf, then you must have been living under a rock. In an article put out by Forbes, they stated that “almost as many Americans played some form of golf away from the course as on it last year, as 23 million people hit balls at golf-entertainment venues such as Topgolf, in indoor simulators, at standalone driving ranges, and in off-course school or youth programs”.
The key word that stands out to us is indoor simulators.
Our Full Swing golf simulators can be found in sports bars, apartment complexes, golf academies, resorts, and most importantly many clubhouses across the country. Having recently surveyed courses that had installed a Full Swing Simulator, over 72% have non-avid golfers and younger people coming to the course for the first time to use the simulators.
Our simulators create a ‘no pressure’ environment allowing new golfers to learn at their own pace and giving them accurate feedback to improve their skills. We can’t forget to mention that our golf simulators give golfers a fun way to play. You don’t need to be a pro to play a full 18 holes at Pebble Beach!
Increase Your Lessons, Club Fittings and Club Sales
In the past year the spark in new golfers joining the game increased not just on the course, but off as well.
With the winter season approaching, many clubhouses across the country have the same idea that colder months make for slower months. Their golf courses will close due to extreme weather conditions and many members tend to stay away until the greens are seen. This tends to stop golf lessons and decreases the sales in club fittings as well. For courses that have a golf simulator, the story is quite different. Having recently surveyed courses that had installed a Full Swing Simulator, over 85% of clubhouses are giving lessons at times of the day or year that were previously not possible.
For clubhouses such as Valley of the Eagles — located in Elyria, Ohio — their busy season is year-round! During their long winter months, which tend to last 5-6 months, lessons can still be given during any day with later times. This gives new opportunities to people wanting to learn the sport and increase traffic that is brought into the clubhouse. Not only does it increase the number of lessons being given, but new golfers have can play a full 18-hole individually or with a group within an hour.
According to Head Golf Professional, Barry Frieman, “Our ROI has been so good, we’re looking to get two more simulators for this coming fall and winter”.
Increase Membership
When people are looking at joining a private golf club, there are many factors they are taking into consideration and with the amount of investment required, it is no wonder that they are looking to get the most of their membership. While you can argue which course will have the best greens and the best pace of play, one thing that private clubs can control is having something for the whole family year-round as a reason to come to the club.
By installing a Full Swing Simulator, you’re not only installing 84 championship courses with Champion Proven Technology used by Tiger Woods, Justin Rose and Jordan Spieth, you’re installing a way for the whole family to play more than 13 sports and a place to watch their favorite team a 12-16 foot screen. When it comes to attracting new members, we know that half the battle is getting them to come to the course to experience what it has to offer and over 60% of survey respondents said that members were booking times specifically to bring guests to the club to use the Full Swing Simulator for the first time.
In our survey of courses that have installed a Full Swing Simulator, over 50% of new members referenced the simulator as a reason for joining over another club that did not offer a simulator as part of their membership. We can’t tell you whether people love that they can play golf at the club no matter the weather or if it is because they know their family is going to spend more time in the clubhouse as the kids play zombie dodgeball on the simulator, but we can say that adding a Full Swing Simulator to the clubhouse is attracting new members and keeping existing ones feeling like their dues are being invested in something that they can use year-round.
Install a Full Swing Simulator in Your Clubhouse, Bring New Players to The Game
It has been said that golf can be one of the hardest sports to learn and even harder to master, which can scare off many potential new players from heading to the course for the first time.
Courses that have installed a Full Swing Simulator in their clubhouse have seen players new to the game embracing a way to learn without worrying about slowing down groups on the course or chasing down duffed shots.
Having recently surveyed courses that had installed a Full Swing Simulator, over 70% of them have had non-avid golfers & younger people coming to the course for the first time specifically to learn in a golf simulator.
Full Swing is not only bringing new players but the whole family to the course, as more than 50% of the courses who have installed a Full Swing Simulator have seen parents who are bringing their kids to the course specifically to play in the simulator. As PGA Tour Champion, Brandt Snedeker says best, “If I take my son to play on course, I have 4 holes before he loses his patience, but in the simulator, he can play 18 holes in no time and have a blast doing it.” Parents and courses across the country are finding out that mom and dad can have a nice dinner and drinks with friends while the kids play golf or one of the 13 other sports offered by Full Swing, and it is time for your course to join in the fun.

In addition to signing Wise to the roster, Full Swing has agreed to a multi-year extension with Major Champion, Jason Day. In 2017, Day installed a PRO 2 Simulator joining players like Tiger Woods, Jordan Spieth and was the first PGA Tour player with a Virtual Green, a patented putting green that can change slope and mimic any putting contour in golf, installed in his home. That year Day had statistically the best putting season of his career which he attributes to how he was able to replicate any putt at home that he faced on Tour, “Being able to practice my putting on the Virtual Green definitely has been a game changer for me,” Day said, “having the ability to practice in Ohio year-round with putts that break left, right, through a valley and all at the touch of a button, it’s something I never thought was possible.”
Full Swing Simulators’ CEO, Ryan Dotters commented, “Jason becoming our first Tour player to see the benefits of installing the Virtual Green in his home has been a great story for us to tell to the amateur player” he continued “We have worked closely with Jason around the future developments of the Virtual Green and Simulator software so that we can keep up with where the game is going and help players around the world.”
Day will continue to support the brand through various marketing initiatives and accompanies Full Swing Simulator’s all-star roster of professional athletes from the NFL, NBA, MLB, and LPGA.
